So many people have fallen on hard times recently, and they and their pets are suffering, often living in inhumane conditions because they lack the resources they need. By donating either a single full-sized blanket, multiple blankets, or a pet blanket, you can generously support those in need. The Situation:

When natural disasters strike, people and pets are often caught in dire situations, lacking basic necessities such as food and shelter.  Providing blankets can offer warmth  and protection from the elements, as well as a sense of security and comfort during these difficult situations, giving immediate relief to people and pets.

Homelessness is also a growing issue facing many cities across the U.S. According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness*, in 2022, 421,000+ people were homeless within the United States. Homelessness can affect people in a variety of situations, including people who have fallen on hard times, are facing unsafe living conditions, or are dealing with physical or mental health issues. As these individuals brave the elements with no shelter and nowhere to call home, they desperately need blankets for warmth, protection, and comfort. 

Many Americans do have a place to call home but they may be unable to properly heat it. Economic uncertainty, such as inflation and financial constraints can also cause  hardships for families and their pets, forcing them to prioritize expenses like rent and food over heating. Heat can become a lower priority in order to pay bills and have food on the table. According to USA Facts** in 2021 roughly 38 million people in the United States live at or below the poverty line. By funding a blanket, you can provide a source of warmth to people making these tough decisions.

Regardless of the reason, far too many people in the U.S. are unable to provide for their own basic needs and those of their families and pets. Your assistance is desperately needed to keep people and pets who have fallen on hard times warm and cared for. 

Where The Blankets Will Be Sent:

These blankets will be distributed to individuals, families, and pets in utmost need in the United States. This includes people residing in shelters, the homeless, and those affected by natural disasters - essentially anyone enduring hardship and might be part of a humanitarian crisis. It also includes animals in humane shelters, rescues, and foster homes, as well as those living with the less fortunate, and those affected by natural disasters.

Regardless of their circumstances, everyone deserves comfort, safety and love. Your contribution can send a shimmer of light and love to the people and pets who need it most.
